Speaking to Today, Kat revealed that she decided to vent her frustrations to her more than 28,000 followers because she realized she didn’t have Ziploc bags when she was about to prepare her breakfast in the morning.
She then realized that “something had to be said” and decided to “send a message to Oscar Mayer” to try to convince them to “change the packaging”.

Meanwhile, Gina Gancheva, director of brand management at Applegate, noted that the company doesn’t see the need for a resealable feature because their consumers cook bacon “in one cooking session” because their bacon is sold in smaller packages.
