Monitor 2 landed this week with a bunch of changes compared to the first game, not the least of which were his new heroes. And if you’re looking to equip the game’s latest support hero, Kiriko, you don’t want to miss out. Monitor 2first Twitch Drop. Starting today, October 7, at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET, you’ll have the chance to grab the Legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin, along with the “I Care About My Friends” voice line.
First, you need to link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts.
You need to do a few things to make sure you’re signed up and ready to score Twitch Drops. First, log into your Battle.net account on a web browser. Then head to the Battle.net Connections page. There you will see “Twitch” at the bottom. Tap “+ Connect” and follow the steps at the end of Twitch to make sure you’re signed up.
Link your accounts even if you have already done so. Your Twitch and Battle.net accounts must be relinked to access Monitor 2 Twitch Drops. It doesn’t matter that your dad works at Blizzard. Now connect these accounts.
How can I get Kiriko’s new voice line and Sukajan’s legendary skin?
Once you’ve linked or reconnected your Twitch and Battle.net accounts, you can enter the “I take care of my friends” voice line for Kiriko while relaxing for two hours Monitor 2 game on Twitch. Just make sure you’re watching a stream in the Monitor 2 Category. Once inside, check that the streamer has Drops enabled. Check the video description, chat or just ask the streamer via chat to be sure. But save the giant popcorn, because you don’t need to watch all two hours in one sitting. As long as you knock two o’clock between the start time listed above and October 16 at 11:59 p.m. PT, you’ll get the voice line. If you count four hours at that time, you will get the legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin. Six hours in total you will get both items for Twitch Drop 1.
You have to watch the streams on a web browser or the Twitch mobile app. Watching on a Twitch console or Smart TV app isn’t going to cut it as those unfortunately don’t support Twitch Drops. You don’t have to stick to the same channel though. So feel free to surf to find a streamer you like. It all adds up in the end, provided you’re watching on a browser or smartphone app.
How do I claim my rewards on Twitch?
Hi, future you who watched at least two hours of Monitor 2 on Twitch between October 7 and October 16. You still need to claim these rewards if you haven’t already. Head to your drop inventory on Twitch to enter them. As Blizzard notes, you’ll need to be logged in to the region you want to receive the drops in, and it will take up to 24 hours for your rewards to appear in-game. You will have a 14-day window after claiming the loot to ensure your Battle.net account is linked in case you missed that super important point above. I remember very well telling you that you were not exempt from reconnecting your account.
I’m a streamer, will Drops be on my channel?
First, make sure your Twitch and Battle.net accounts are linked. I told you: No exceptions. Then just make sure you have Drops enabled in your Drops Streamer Home page.
What about future Drops?
Everything here lists what you need to know for the first Monitor 2 Twitch Drop. But there is also a second drop from October 17 at 11:00 a.m. PT to October 24 at 12:00 p.m. PT. There you can pick up the “Razor Sharp Kiriko Spray” after two o’clock of total viewing time, and the “Donut Weapon Charm” after three hours.
